Memory Sharing: Teamwork as a Form Of Togetherness

Togetherness can come in various forms, be it in a classroom between friends, in a family or in a relationship. To me, I experienced togetherness in UTAR in the form of teamwork.

A few semesters ago, everybody in our intake did a press conference as an assignment. As per normal, I teamed up with my usual group as well as a few other friends as the assignment required more group members compared to our usual 5 people per group.

No matter what the endeavor is, there are three main characteristics in teamwork that will eventually lead to success and they are persistency, trust and loyalty.  I am so proud to say that all the members in my group shined with these qualities. Throughout the entire course, there was a lot of support, patience as well as forgiveness for the hard times that we went through in order to make that press conference a success.

The preparation for the press conference was tough especially towards the end. Everyone was feeling the pressure of getting the press kit’s ready as well as memorizing their lines. However, throughout that time, everyone worked hard and supported each other physically and mentally to get through successfully till the end.

To me personally, working together with these individuals showed me that teamwork does exist as a form of togetherness that can lead to success. Thank you guys, you know who you are… =)
